 The GST for people even today it is a major drama... but Sherlock makes it easy. The program guides you through every step of the way in knowing whether to issue a Tax Receipt to a Commercial tenant who has an owner who is GST registered and with an ABN from just having an ABN. This would mean this owner has a GST tax obligation based on the receipt issued. Equally as an agent you charge Owners / Tenants for services which incur GST and the onus is on the Agent to pay this GST.. Sounds simple but some owners are except to JUNE 2005 and GST does therefore not apply to those Managing Agency Agreements.
