Sherlock developed inbuilt backup and restore technology and it has been a standard feature in our products since 1987. In some cases it took our competitors over 10 years before they followed suit. We take the view that it is our direct responsibility to not only create quality data and systems but give you an inbuilt mechanism to save and restore and move data as required. The data is then a suitable package that can be Emailed to our support or where multiple unconnected offices are involved to restore and run a central End of Month run. We also have provision for subscription clients to send the EOM backup via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to our Secure "RENTALZ" site. This guarantees an Off-site backup and protects your investment should there be a fire or theft of computers and disks. Some of you must be worried whether the backup disks even work or have not been overridden by somebody in the office... It is a big problem for some organisations.
Of course you can still do your normal Sherlock backups to either Floppy Disk, Hard Disk, Removable Drives and Rewritable CD's.
